The Board of Public Works is proud to announce that they are partnering with the Groundwater Foundation to promote clean groundwater.  The Groundwater Foundation provides education on the importance of groundwater, which is a finite resource.  Every citizen everyday has some interaction with groundwater while being unaware of its importance to their lives.

One of the things the Board of Public Works hopes to accomplish with this partnership is to establish Auburn and the surrounding communities as “Groundwater Guardians”.  Groundwater Guardians work with the goal of educating residents and protecting the groundwater in their community.

Brian Reetz with the Groundwater Foundation will be speaking at the City Council Meeting on April 25th at 7:00 p.m.  In order to get an idea of the communities thoughts on groundwater, Brian has asked that citizens complete the following survey….
