Water/Wastewater Department
Candidate must be at least 18 years of age, must have a high school diploma, a valid driver with a class A CDL preferred and the ability to pass preemployment health and drug screening. Candidate must be able to safely perform tasks to maintain the integrity of the City of Auburn’s Water System with an eye toward safety. Experience in construction and the use of heavy equipment is appreciated. Courses in advanced mathematics and chemistry would be desirable. Certifications for State of Nebraska Grade IV Level Operator and Grade I Wastewater Operator must be completed within 12 months of hire. Preference given to licensed operators. Job requires a 40-hour week, and on-call hours. Residency requirement 40 miles from work location; competitive salary and excellent benefit package.
